Vermont earned a 5-1 win over the University of Sherbrooke and a 2-0 victory over Southern New Hampshire University during preseason action.

HOMECOMING
The Stanford match will mark a homecoming for former Catamount Gregg Olson who is in his third season as an assistant coach with the Cardinal. Olson, a four-year starter for Vermont, is a 2000 graduate of UVM and also spent five seasons as an assistant coach in the program.

CALL TO THE HALL
Stephane Delval '93 is one of six former Vermont student-athletes who will be inducted into the UVM Athletic Hall of Fame on September 11. Delval was a two-time first-team All-North Atlantic Conference and All-New England defender for the men's soccer team. A two-time team captain, he led Vermont to a 10-8-2 record in 1991 and earned All-North Atlantic Conference (now America East) and All-New England First Team honors. Also that year, he was a second-team adidas Scholar-Athlete All-American. He repeated as a first-team all-conference and All-New England selection in 1992, his senior season, as the Catamounts finished third in the NAC. Delval was named by his teammates the winner of the team's Hal Greig Award as both a junior and senior. The honor goes to the player who has done the most for the Catamount soccer program.

The inductees will be lauded at the 42nd annual UVM Athletic Hall of Fame Dinner at the Davis Center on the UVM campus. Tickets to the dinner may be purchased starting August 9 through the UVM Victory Club Office in Patrick Gym (802-656-0956 or victory.club@uvm.edu).

A semifinalist for the Herman Trophy last year, Warsham earned a spot on the 2010 Herman Trophy Watch List and is also a finalist for the Lowe's Senior Class Award. He led the team in scoring for the third straight year in 2009, recording six goals.
