OSGOOD NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEKSophomore
Rylee Osgood was been named the America East Women's Soccer Player of the Week on Monday. She scored twice in a four-minute span in the second half to lead the Catamounts to a 3-2 comeback victory at Rhode Island on Sunday. Osgood's game-winning goal, a header in the 71st minute, was the first game-winner of her career. Osgood is tied for the team lead in goals (3) and points (6) this season.

#UPICKTHEKIT - Vol. 2For the second straight year fans can chose which uniform the University of Vermont women's soccer team will wear in a match. This year's #UPickTheKit game is set for October 1 when UVM faces New Hampshire. Last season nearly 900 fans voted for the team to wear its all black road uniforms in a 2-1 wiin over UMBC.

Nikki McFarland lead the team in scoring with six points and three goals each. The Catamounts are 7-3-1 in games which McFarland tallies a goal in her career. Senior
Ally Ramos is the team's top goalkeeper, having started all eight games, and owns a 1.51 goals against average.
ABOUT STONY BROOKStony Brook stands at 3-5-2 on the season after playing to a 2-2 draw against Fairfield on Wednesday. The Seawolves are unbeaten in their last three matches (1-0-2) and have won three of their last six contests. SBU has been out scored 6-3 in the first half of matches, but have tallied nine second half goals this year. Raven Edwards leads the team in scoring with 12 points on five goals and two assists. She also ranks among the league leaders in points and goals. Seven different Seawolves have tallied a goal this season. Emily Doherty and Cara Gallagher have shared the goalkeeping duties this season.
THE SERIESThe Catamounts are opening conference play against the Seawolves for the third time in head coach
